As a Community our vision is:
- To be receiving from God ourselves: his love, healing, teaching, gifts, guidance, and transforming of our lives
- To be living in such a way that those blessings overflow to others, especially locally in Aston, whilst being open to receiving, learning from and being blessed by others too
- To participate in God’s work of healing, restoring and reconciling people and communities through Jesus Christ
- To encourage and support one another in doing this together – with each other in Community, with local Christians, and with people of all faiths and none who share in aspects of our vision
A rhythm of prayer and shared meals are core parts of our Community life. We work closely with local churches in Aston, and seek to be involved practically in the local community as much as possible.
During lockdown last year, we were asked to lead an online service for the Parish of Aston & Nechells (C of E). Below is the video service we produced as the Aston Community.
